Nina WilliamsDWC Coordinator

Nina has called rural Montezuma County home since 1996, raising two children and working with land, people, and water in various capacities. A nurturer at heart, she believes a community’s well-being is inextricably linked to watershed, forest, and soil health. Nina thrives on connecting with people and comes to the Collaborative with a B.S. in Botany and prior work as a plant ecologist, researcher, co-executive director of Montezuma Land Conservancy, with Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project and Southwest Farm Fresh Cooperative. Nina raises produce and grass-fed/finished beef and lamb at Haycamp Farm and developed her appreciation of watersheds from a lifetime of stream fishing, camping in the mountains and a deep love of agriculture.
